About NIT Surathkal
NIT Surathkal is a government institute that was established in the year 1960. The institute is located in Mangalore, Karnataka, and was upgraded as the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in the year 2002. The Ministry of Education (MoE) has released the NIRF ranking 2025. As per the rankings, the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal (NITK Surathkal) has achieved an NIRF rank of 17 in the Engineering category with a score of 64.59. NIT Karnataka Surathkal has also signed MoUs with institutes like NIT Andhra Pradesh, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut, NIT Puducherry, GEC Thrissur, and GCT Coimbatore.
NITK Surathkal courses are offered at the UG and PG levels in various streams such as engineering, management, science, and information technology.
